Internal motivation during a crisis

Challenge: GM Suisse wanted to inspire a “winning spirit” in their company, as it had dried up after years of losing market share. Despite this downturn – with Chevrolet, Opel and Saab – GM still had an attractive product portfolio that can result in success.

Solution: In order to get GM Suisse employees to once again believe that the company, and its dealers, could be successful, Heads created the slogan “Zusammen. Bewegen. Gewinnen.” (Moving. Winning. Together). This slogan was integrated into the company through various measures and continually discussed and communicated.

Result: The dealers and the employees were able to apply the slogan with excellent results: six months after the start of the internal branding program, GM Suisse was able to regain market share!
